Rosh Hashanah has arrived as an invitation to begin again. Let’s look back at the past year not to live there and not to rewrite it, but to understand it. Every experience, including the painful ones, can teach us something about who we are and who we want to become.
Taking responsibility means being honest about our choices, our words and the moments when we could have acted differently. But responsibility is not the same as blame. It is the courage to choose a better response today.
The shofar calls us to wake up, change direction and move forward with purpose. As we enter this New Year, may we bring gratitude for what remains, wisdom from what has passed and hope for the opportunities still ahead. May we have the strength to build our next chapter with integrity, faith and an open heart.
